Might want to add that to the original post so people know.

Alot, but thats because it is a insanely popular game. Alot of other MMOs don't make near that much profit.

No it doesn't, however CSS and other multiplayer shooters get boring VERY fast for me, so it really depends on the person.

You never feel invincible in a MMO, or shouldn't, atleast I don't. There will always be things stronger than you that require you to get 15 friends to kill, and there is always other players to fight and better gear to get to progress to a harder instance.

Single Player RPGs are good too, and are a little more fun than MMOs, but they don't last near as long and you pay $60 for 20-40hrs tops.

MMOs are the reality shows of PC. The user makes the game now, instead of the developers. Not that it's a bad thing. After all, isn't it better when you can shape the game world you're in? Still, I despise the genre simply because it killed good immersive single player genres. I doubt this game will be as big as WoW and will probably fade away after the first few years or so.

Heres some videos, remember this is closed/open beta footage.

Some of the videos do have some swearing in the music videos in the background, just FYI.

Personally, I think the game looks really good and considering this is beta footage I can't wait until tuesday. Apparantly the build is alot newer/better than what these videos were running on.

What about oblivion? . Over 200 hours worth of gameplay. I don't think anyone would have finished that game there are soo many quests that I can't seem to find all of them.

Yeah okay good point. Point taken and withdraw comments.

One of the selling points of a RPG is the SP if it weren't for the single player content not many people would play that game. I will see if I cool looking MMO comes out with a awesome storyline and gameplay I might buy it and pay it. Depends really.

Oblivion is the game which really got me into RPG. I can't wait to max it out on my 8800gt and get 50+fps on it LOL and start the quests all over again. I am also gonna go out tomorrow and get the witcher.

The witcher is better than oblivion IMHO. Sure.. its not as long your looking at 80 hours or so.. and its not as open.. but its better.

Probably the best RPG IMHO.

You shouldn't play it yet though... Wait for "The Witcher Extended" it's being released soon and is a free expansion/huge patch. I would really wait. They are redoing all the english voices in it too. They said about 20 more hours of gameplay. I think you have to start a new game to use it.

If it cost's so much to keep the servers up than how come games like such Guild Wars dont require a subscription yet it makes most MMO's look like a joke. Guild wars also has tons of free content updates and isn't a grindfest.
