Bremaine, thanks for the clarification

Do you happen to remember what BIOS version you had to revert back to? Hmmm the same may or may not apply for his M2N-E....

I had to go back to the 1201 bios. I looked at some different forums for his specific board and they said that the 0802 was the last bios for his m2n-e before phenom support.

Everthing looks right other then I think your Vcore is below stock maybe your not 100% stable. I think my 5600 is like 1.3 or so stock.

Just looked it up vcore should be at 1.3-1.35 area so if your trully at 1.2 your low on vcore may mess up your score maybe.

I will change that right now. BRB

Ok, so in the BIOS the vcore says 1.325v so I changed it to 1.35v. Now in CPUid it says the vcore is 1.232v.

Anyone know which is correct? The bios or cpuid?

if the cpuid is correct then i should be able to up it more in the bios until it reaches 1.3-1.35 correct?

I will try that too, next.

Although, if that is the cause, I will never buy from ASUS again. That would have to be one of the most bs pain in the ass thing a mobo company could do to a customer. Especially for a $100+ board.

KnowSkillz, can you verify with a few other applications to make sure that voltage change is showing up? Try out Coretemp and Everest Ultimate Edition.

I usually trust the BIOS over everything.

Good luck

CPU-Z has a habit of reporting voltaage a tad higher than its actually set to. As long as its in the general area, you should be fine. I have the same CPU and it runs 1.35v @stock speeds.

Superk, thank you for pointing that out. I usually notice the abnormality after 1.4volts. Kind of strange

Yeah, when im at stock its registered 1.35 smack on, but when I go to 1.425 for OCing to 3200 it shows 1.440. in CPU-Z. I always thought it was funny, 1.44mb. I get a good laugh out of it
