Picture of my 6200 - Page 4

It astounds me that some of those cards have the selling point of being vista ready.

I don't see the proble dude, if you're happy then thats your choce. Although I would sell those cards soon before they plummet even more in price.

Reminds me of my old packard bell, it had a first gen p4 in it and RIMM RAM. I upgraded the arse off that, it was a fantastic PC for its time, but I recently chose to give that to a family member who had no PC and move on. For the combine cost of those cards you could have built a pretty decent PC. But if you like that PC, I don't see too much of an issue. My uncle is really happy with his 300mhz celeron, it runs XP pretty good too.

By the way, Love your ghetto scanning....I would never have though of that. Those pics would fascinate drunks for hours.

I used to have a bfg 6200oc, I think I acctually posted a review of it somewhere.

Only kept it for like 2 weeks, what a crappy card a ti4400 was faster then that thing. If I rember correctly you had to mess around with the bios if you wanted to overclock it at all because you couldn't do it in windows.

Thread Starter
The 6200's as always been bad, my FX5500 is a million times more faster then card. And in some ways in certain games more powerful. I just went back using the 2400 hd pro. Using the 8.4 drivers with the 7.9 Control Panel, not control center, but panel. No problems, everything working fine. I can't use the CCC version 8.4 because for some reason it won't load up.

Anyways, peace

I think the 2400 is just weaker then the X1550.

If you get the X1550 or the 8500GT, go for it.

And btw, these are how much i have paid for my cards:

50 dollars for the 5200
92 dollars for the 5550
137 dollars for the 2400 hd pro
100 dollars for the 9250
65 dollars for the 700032mb
100 dollars for the 6200 bfg
72 dollars for the evga 6200 version
I am not so much bothered that you are still running a P3. I am also not really bothered by the fact that you keep trying to find a video card that will give you the best gaming experience you can get on that P3. What I am so bothered by is the fact that you have bought and still own all of those video cards. Why do you still have them all and continue to buy so many video cards? Why not sell them all and save your money up for a new computer?
