Need Help Deciding on RAM and CPU Cooler to complete parts list

I am trying to finish getting all the parts for my build. What I got so far is on my sig. I am in need of a CPU cooler and RAM and the ones I am looking at are:

CPU HEATSINK: Xigmatek HDT-S1283 - 36.99

Looks good, heard some good reviews on the Xig, ram is OK, but I'm a Corsair fan, just my preference.

for ram, spend $40 more and get 4GB (2x2) of GSKILL 1000MHZ

i second the 4gb gskill kit. i think a lot of boards max out at 8gb so you have a better upgrade option instead of 2 smaller sticks.
