He might be water cooling that card. I cant imagine hes using a 480 rad just for his CPU.

Oops. I fear that I may have unintentionally mislead you with my clock speeds. I didn't know that cycles of 3dmark wasn't accepted as stable (noob).
As many of you probably expected, my clocks showed artifacts after a while in atitool.
It is running now at (if I recall correctly) 850core, 2075shader, 1235mem.
Those seem a little more down to earth.
Sorry again for my ignorance.

Oh, and on my temps; no I am not watercooling the card. This is for a couple of reasons. 1. I don't plan on this 9800 being my permanent card, so I wouldn't want to buy a waterblock for it just to upgrade as soon as the gt200,9900 (whatever you want to call it) comes out. If I do water my graphics, it will be my sli'd card of nvidias next gen. 2. When I built the computer I wasn't sure exactly how well my wc setup would perform and how high I would be able to clock my 9650/how much heat it would produce.
But back to my card, the temps seem to be doing pretty well from what I have observed. It seems to be around ~44*c idle and ~55*c load. I don't know about now a days, but this is pretty good compared to my old 6800gs which shot up to >70*c load.

Hmm, my 9800GTX runs hotter than that, probably need to take the cooler off and do a proper job on the TIM.

I could be mistaken (again). I could recheck again when I get home.
(I should probably do that BEFORE I post from now on )
