If the Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme (TRUE) is too tall, you could try the Thermalright Ultima-90. It's basically a slightly shortened version of the TRUE, designed to fit in smaller cases. Otherwise, it's identical. I believe it cools nearly as well (and usually costs $10-15 less, as well.)

and i just checked thermalright's website and the ultima-90 does not clear the dfi's huge nb heatsink. so i gotta count that out of the question.

i'm leaning towards the tuniq tower now, anybody want to back me up on that?

Yup, I'll back you up on that one It has pretty good clearance underneath it. It clears the huge NB heatsink on my blood iron.

I've always liked the look of the Tuniq Tower. As others have pointed out, the thermalright product your talkin about is the TRU, you want to get the TRUE (tru +extreme). Ive herd the noctua 120mm fans were the best. I've also herd the sflex fans work well.

He knows he wants the TRUE over the TRU but the TRUE only fits on the P35-t2rs facing vertical unless you mod the board voiding your warranty. The TRU has been known to fit correctly which is why he's mentioning it.

thank you.

i'm still trying to figure out which to get. from what i can see in the thread 3 people recommend the tuniq where only one recommends the thermalright ultra-120A.

i'm still iffy on which to buy so we'll see.

Go with the Tuniq... gives great temps and is solid.

the only offside with the tuniq tower, is that i need to cut off part of the mounting hardware. which shouldn't be a problem. i'll wait for a couple of more opinions before i actually make a decision.
