Hey guys!

I finally got my uber laptop i'd been waiting for!!! yay!!!

This thing is awesome!!!

The laptop is Sager NP5793 ordered from xoticpc.com
Thanks to Justin Nolte for that!(owner of Xoticpc.com)

Specs in my sig!!

I had also ordered a Targus XL 17" Backpack(TXL- 617) along with the lappy for $76! nd man its looks so perfect!

The Box in which the lappy was kept was quite big! The box contained a standard laptop bag nd .........the UBER....the most ultimate nd the most perfect laptop ever made!!!

lol! its getting difficult to explain like that! i'll explain along with pics!!

The Box

---------------

Yay! box opening!

After opening the box i was just like wow, wow, wow, wow!!!!
After seeing pics of it on the internet for months, when u see it in person its quite an awesomely ecstatic feeling!!!

-----------------------------

The lappy!

Sager Yeah!!!!

Just have a look at the GPU in this monster!!!

Keyboard along with touchpad nd Fingerprint reader!!

Front audio ports! nd the most awesome thing, u can reconfigure the ports to run 5.1 Ch surround with realtek!!!

Lid opened!!

Ports on the rt side!

The underside!!

Extreme Edition yeah!!!

Power brick is quite small!!

Lappy at a glance!

Lt side DVD rw

2MP camera mounted on top of the lid!!

installing Vista

Windows Experience Index!!! i know cr@p!! but still!

Admiring the lappy from a distance!!

Truly AMAZING machine!!!

--------------------

I ran Crysis on it!!
1400x1050 res Everything set to high, @ 30fps easily!!! no lagging or stuttering!!

COD4 @WUXGA res, everything maxed out!! ultra smooth!

This monster can pawn all the games thrown at it!!!

nd the most important thing!!! It uses a MXM IV slot for 8800m GTX!!!

i.e. when 9800m GTX comes out, i can swap it right into it! no probs!!! nd all other components fully upgradeable!!!

Currently, i'm using it with a 500GB Seagate FreeAgent Ext HDD!!

I'm surprised that the Vista experience score was so low - especially with 4 gigs of memory. Must be the 667 holding it back. Seriously though, who cares. That thing will be tons of fun at a lan party! Nice buy, man.

WEI is cr@p as far as i know!!
Surprisingly DDR2-800Mhz ram shows improved score!!

But santa rosa platform only supports 667Mhz ram! so 800 gets downclocked to 667!!

Also this machine can be Oced!!!
no bios options but by using Set FSB!!!

If u r looking to buy from Sager!!

just some info! -

They'll be releasing 'Montevina Platform' in their notebooks from June!

i.e. Intel Centrino 2 class processor chipsets which will support up to DDR3 RAM!!

+e-sata and HDMI ports along with support for WiMax and Next generation Core 2 Extreme processors!!!

Quote:
Montevina platform (2008)

The code-name Montevina refers to the fifth-generation Centrino platform, now formally named Centrino 2 to avoid confusion with previous Centrino platforms. It is scheduled for release at Computex Taipei 2008, which will take place on June 3 - 7, 2008.[5] Montevina will support Penryn, Intel's 45nm die-shrink version of Core 2 processors.
- The Montevina platform consists of:
  • Processors - Socket B / Socket P / Micro-FCBGA
    • a second-generation Intel Core 2 Duo (code-named Penryn) 45nm processor with 1066 MT/s FSB with clock speeds ranging from 2.26 GHz to 3.06 GHz, also featuring SSE4.1 support, which adds 47 new instructions to SSSE3. It is planned to consume no more than 29W, compared to Merom's and first-generation Penryn's 34W TDP.
  • an Intel Mobile 45 Express chipset (code-named Cantiga; GM45, GM47 or PM45) with Intel's GMA X4500 graphics technology and ICH9M southbridge, 1066 MT/s front side bus. The graphics core GM45/47 is expected to be clocked at 533/640MHz which will contain ten unified shaders, up from the eight provided by GMA X3100.
  • Wireless Modules
    • the Intel WiFi Link 5100/5300 mini-PCIe adapter (code-named Shiloh), and the add-on card WiMAX (802.16) (code-named Dana Point), or
    • the Intel combo WiFi/WiMAX Link 5150/5350 mini-PCIe adapter (code-named Echo Peak).
The Montevina platform is branded as "Centrino 2 vPro" when combined with security and manageability features built-in technologies.

Definitely go for it!
