would i be happy if i used this for a monitor? im not sure whether the response time will be fast enough since it will be going through a much longer VGA cable. the price is not a factor. it would be used for gaming display on a 3g c2d 2G ram 8800 gt 512

I dunno how good that particular model is but I have an optoma HD65 and its beautiful, a bit cheaper than the one ur looking at and it has a higher native resolution (1280 x 960 or something )

Just something for you to think about, ofcourse using projectors as a monitor can be quite expensive if you use it alot due to the price of the bulbs, I think the bulbs are only around £100 for the HD65 though and they last about 3000 hours so its not too bad

I myself am buying a monitor for the pc im about to build but I will use the projector for gaming and movies and the monitor for general use
