That Q6600 for $203 doesn't make sense. The Q6600 is already $240 in Australia so I'm guessing it is around the $200 mark in the USA anyway. All of these prices in Q3 don't seem to much better than what is on offer at the moment so I'm having a hard time getting excited.
Regardless, I don't know whether I would go with a Q9xxx series while the Q6600 series other than the fact that I know the Q9450 won't limit me in terms of temperature while the Q6600 will (at 1.475V with a dual it's reaching 65C).
The other thing is whether the E7200 actually has any merit at all in todays market. I'm not sure what the data suggests but I'd rather a E6600 from ebay
The dual cores still seem far too expensive for me to give up my E2160 yet and the quad cores aren't being utilized so I guess I'll sit tight at the moment and wait for 1336 and K10.5Edited by NrGx - 5/19/08 at 6:05pm
