I installed Vista Business x64

Since I'm going to school for my MCSE cert & computer science degree, I get free Microsoft crap.

I get a ton of stuff, but the best being Vista Business x64, and Server 2008 x64

Anyways, I think I will like Vista....it seems to be very refined. That last time I used it a lot was when it first came out and I hated it. I will miss my XP Pro idling at 225mb mem usage, but Vista is playing everything just fine. Gears of War DX10 was zomg! It's actually very similar...I assigned all static IP's and set up remote desktop the same exact way I did on XP

Anyways, just thought I'd mention I moved on from XP to Vista

I'm glad you're liking Vista so far. With the ram usage; if it's there, why not use it?

I had to turn off SuperFetch on my mom-in-law's computer because it got sooo slooow, but I'm not noticing any issues at all.

Time to get another 2 gigs of ram a quad
