Is this gaming material? If so, how would it run the latest games like Crysis, etc.

It won't run Crysis very well because portable computer graphics and cpus are often underclocked and undervolted to reduce operating temps. It will run it, though, but not very good FPS. It should run COD4.

I have a 9800GTX Desktop that rungs Crysis on "Very High" just fine... o.0

I would however instead ordering from gatway, try bestbuy.
With the money saved, you can easily pop a much faster processor in it.
