All DirectX10 is is a better and more streamlined version of DirectX 9. You can do more with less, basically. Trying to replicate Direct X 10 on Direct X 9 is possible, it just won't run as well. You would need more power.

Exactly...I hate it when people say things like "DX10 effects". Such a thing doesn't exist...it's just a graphics effect for which DX10 provides one possible API call. But they almost have to say it this way because Microsoft has effectively marketed DX10 as actually being a "must have" for "good graphics"...it's like the "Intel Inside" of modern PC gaming.

In terms of graphic processing power, you are correct but only by a little. When it comes to central proccessing power, the ps3 wins, but again, only by a little.

ps3 = cpu power but only marginal
