Yea, I don't think I could ever use that much space

I have rockbox on my iPod now, a whopping 1GB....it's so hard to keep it under too..

I looked into the Cowon D2, which has a touchscreen, capacity up to 8GB, and 52 hours of battery life....It has a memory card slot to expand your storage. I was thinking about buying a 16GB SDHC card to put it in for 32GB of space. Then I would have the best of both worlds-battery life and storage.

seems like a viable solution, I guess. But make sure that there are no silly limiters on the expandability...

I had this one experience with my first mp3 player... and RCA lyra, and it was expandable, so i bought a card for it, but it couldn't have more then 99 tracks lol... kinda pointless.

The support for the high capacity SD cards is still in beta I think. Newer firmware is probably going to be released, eventually it will have full support for SDHC I am pretty sure. I'll have to look into it. I just don't know if I can live with the battery life of the A3 I was looking at previously...even though the 30GB size is perfect for me I think.

The Cowon D2 has a 16 GB variant, which along with a 16 GB SDHC card would get you 32 GB. I have an 8 GB variant, and it is a very good player, i have no major problems with it, very good SQ and long battery life.

Oh, I didn't know that. That helps

Yea, I still don't think I could use that much...now I have probably around 4GB, but some of my music is MP3 V0 and FLAC...I don't have that much music so

I think the 16GB D2 is a pretty good choice to suit my needs...I can always add in a SD card if I run out of space...By that time I'll just add a 32GB card, should be a while

The Cowon D2 has a very nice screen, I wish it was nigh invincible like the iPod Touch screen.
