you would have to get a monster OC out of it to equal the performance of GTX 280. The GTX 280 has 240 Stream Processors and 1GB of RAM with a 512Mb Mem interface. THe GTX 260 has 192 sream processors and 896 RAM with a 448 mem interface.

Highest I got for benching was 705mhz core/1502mhz shader/1253mhz memory I can run through 3dMark06 and Vantage with these clocks. Though. for regular gaming that overclock seems to cause problems after a while with artifacts. So for gaming I clock it to 700mhz core/1450mhz shader/1223mhz memory which works just fine.

Haven't maxed it out yet, but I've ran Vantage at 740/2500/1588shader on water.

I think you mean MSI and all brands should be made to nVidia's minimum standards and basically be the same except for some coolers. The biggest difference in the brands is the warranty that comes with them. MSI's is 3 years after manufacture date. Not sure what BFG's is.
