Anyone know what to do with the HDMI/S/PDIF cable? Plug one end into the card but where does the other one go? Into my X-Fi or mobo?

I have a 52" LCD and HDMI surround that I want to use too, but you didn't answer my question. Does it have to go on the mobo S/PDIF or can I use the one on my X-fi?

And exactly where does it go? It's a 2 pinner, and the S/PDIF have like 8 pins areas, mobo book doesn't break down each pin's purpose for the S/PDIF

You need to use the adapter that came with you video card for your video connection.

I have a 750i FTW mobo and on page 6 you'll see the layout for the audio connections. If it's a 2 plug setup you should prbly be using the green for the front speakers and the black for the rear speakers. You should be able to use either the board or you x-fi card. Note, did you disable your board audio ports when installing the x-fi card? I would try using the card either way. It will give better quality then the onboard sound.

Got a new system this weekend, so if it's cool I'd like to be added here. I Haven't been able to get past 3.7 GHz on the Q9550 so far but I'm really happy with the performance I'm getting regardless.
