iKuma,86ONE,newt111,JackArbiter and Blameless. All are in. Sorry for the late udpate. Thanks the information. Blameless, congratulation on your 'stock' GTX260. I got one GTX260 from evga, it says stock but ran out it is a FTW version.

It wasn't shown on newegg, or MSI's web sites, but the card is an OC version and comes clocked at 620 core, 1296 shader, and 1080 memory, by default.

The stock Extra voltage is also 1.06v, leaving a good bit of voltage headroom through BIOS mods (the voltage being adjustable to 1.18v in the BIOS).

I haven't had a chance to do any real testing yet; I'm the process of overhauling the cooling for my card. I've decided to stick with the stock cooling, but all thermal interface materials are being replaced. I've de-lidded my card and will likely use Liquid Pro liquid metal as the TIM between the die and the heatspreader, and possibly between the heatspreader and the heatsink. I've also ordered three difference kinds of gap filler to replace the mesh reinforced paste/pads that connect the memory and the VRMs to the heatsink. I may also have some even better gap filler samples on the way, but not sure if I'll get them in time.

Anyway, I'm going to shoot for at least 700 on the core, and depending on temps I may even try for 800, but with that clock speed and the 1.12 to 1.18v, I doubt the stock cooler will handle it, even at 100% fan speed, overhauled TIMs, and improved case cooling.

Random guys on newegg claim to be able to get the core past 700 pretty easy but not 755 or beyond. Let me know if it works out for you, my card's on its way in.

I heard people were either getting oc'd evga's or 216's instead of 192's. Wanted an evga but I barely got 184.99 together as it is, the evga was 220.

Ah well, this card'll do more than my monitor'll be ready for so it doesn't matter.

I got one of the 216's that were boxed and stickered wrong, my core runs at 736 so far during hours of gaming, still working it up a few mhz at a time and then i'll start on everything else. The shader i have running at 1525 and ram at 1125 but i am sure i can go higher on the shader, just waiting to see what my max core speed is. I will post up screenies when i get everything finalized.

also been running 3dmark vantage and 06 for testing my clocks and furmark, is there anything else i can use that i can just run and let it go for an hour that will max the card out and let me see if it is completely stable?

I got very similar results as you newt - 756 1566 1224 is what i ended at. I was at 1248 but got some artifacting in games even though furmark ran fine. I will post up a screenshot so i can get added to the list in a couple of minutes after photoshop gets done installing... forgot to put it back on after my last format. Next step up in core speed is 771, i wonder if i can hit that with a little extra voltage... is there an easy way to over volt these puppies, like just a bios upgrade or pencil mod or something?

I haven't even tried maxing it yet. I found the shader speed, then halved that to get the core. Ram I also didn't hit max...I'm good for now.
