The GeForce GTX200 series GPU Information Thread - Page 34

I just got a 260 today and I was browsing this thread for cooling suggestions. I've seen lots of pics of the board, but I was wondering is the ram the only additional thing that needs cooling? anyone point me to a pic with the key areas circled would be appreciated.

I don't know first hand, but I think the VRM's should have some cooling as well. That cards VRMs have to handle 200+watts.

There is an open port(for air, I'm assuming) on the end of these cards. Can anybody tell me for certain whether or not the air is being sucking in through here or pushed out? I can't tell for nothing! Anyone..? Anyone..?

Anyways, the way my case is set up, there is an open 2.5" bay that sits directly across from this port. I thought that I could make a custom bent air duct through the front of my case and into the end of my card depending on whether she blows or sucks.
