So, this is what Im doing

I bought an EVGA 680i A1 (apparently the good version) mobo under the for sale section.

Now Im going to buy...
Q6700

and
G.Skill RAM

is this good? I dont want to have to turn around and say OMG I screwed up when I buy them >.<

Yep... Some nice parts, should be a very nice rig. Those quads are amazing, that ram is unreal at that price.

I like the Quad, and the RAM. I haven't had good luck with my 680i a1 boards though. I have seen that others have had problems o/c'ing quads as well. Good luck with your build though.
