cache 1meg vs 2meg - Page 2

My e2160 @ 3.38 with memory at 900mhz 5-5-4-12 does 2605 @ 14:05 on ubuntu. 2653 is about 15:10 on winsmp. I think the cache has a significant difference in folding times, maybe about 10% or more when is 1mb vs. 4mb.

EDIT: And thats not because im selling a e6xxx

If you click on my thread in my sig look under wu 2653 at mega_options. I have a higher clock and lower timings but he is killing me on that WU as well as other similar clocks on 2605. I think 1mb <<<<<< 4mb. 10%+

EDIT: I think i will add all my info on the next update and plea for people with E2xxx and E4xxx series to post.

I would say thats a fair assumption. My guess on the data i have would be close to 5% but I need more data before i could tell you for sure.

Now you just need to decide if 5% is enough to spend more $$
