I have to admit... This is very cool, props to you Icarus!

As for the thermal camera, I don't know exactly where you would find one, but you could also consider an infrared thermometer. They can be really handy when you are doing thermal testing.

Hi Icarus welcome to OCN another person from HK and i never knew syrillian was in HK. Are you still in HK right now cause i wanna know where you get your eVga things cant seem to find any Evga things here

placements for what? the Fans? If it is it most of the time it is front and sides and bottom intake and top and back exhaust.
Sweet, you should try positive air pressure vs negative air pressure
ie: two fans in and one out VS one in and two out.

An excellent recommendation.

You could also (may require some modding) try cooling with and without a blowhole.

There is also down-drafting (intake at the top, exhaust on the backside and/or bottom.

The only thing that comes to mind is rationalizing on what makes the G15 unique.

18 G-Keys for Macro functions and other uses.
LCD panel for System and Application information

If you are a "tester" then such functions are at least a helpul to the user.

100 US bucks is a lot for a keyboard, and you paid a premium (most likely your location?)
Not everything in Hong Kong is inexpensive.

Do you need the G15? Is it V1 or V2?

Say

- It is like 150$ normally

- It ill last me 10 years+

- It allows me to see the keys in the dark, saving electricity off lighting the whole room to see the keyboard

- It allows me to monitor things in games/ performance, so it is also an expansion pack for every game you have.

- It allows you to control important functions like volume

- It comes with 2 USB ports, so it is also a USB hub, which can cost 20-30$.
