IRQL Not Less or Equal BSOD Dump File

Thread Starter
I've been getting this BSOD on startup recently, so I've run the debugger and got all of this, except I don't really understand it. I don't have a clue whats causing it so any help would be greatly appreciated (I've run memtest overnight and HDD diagnostics with no errors).

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: 00004b54, memory referenced
Arg2: 00000002, IRQL
Arg3: 00000000, bitfield :
bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: 8189a001, address which referenced memory

Debugging Details:
------------------

OVERLAPPED_MODULE: Address regions for 'vga' and 'cdrom.sys' overlap

i have been getting the same IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR EQUAL BSOD for a few days now. some people advised me that it was my RAM causing the issues, so i RMA'd them. I will see if that helped it. I tried everything from replacing hard drive, to changing to vista x64 vs xp. now i am changing the RAM.

I thought it was my RAM as first, which I also RMA'd. But since then I've changed every part of my system with a replacement or upgrade and re-installed Vista about 7 times but it still comes up now and then

did anyone get any recent updates? could that be an issue? i agree it does seem a bit weird, but i am sure mine is the RAM, because that is not the only error i was getting.
