Hello,

I have 2 PCs at home (Both Vista 64bit SP1) and want to copy ~800MB data over the network (mainly small files 1-10kb). But it seems very, very slow. The throughput was ~10kb/s before SP1 and now after installing SP1 it seems even worse. Besides this now the PC which triggered the copy (the celeron) is almost useless because of ~80% CPU usage.
When I copy files from a Windows XP machine to Vista then the transfer is ~20times faster and almost no CPU usage.

My 1 PC is in my sig and the other is very similar just the CPU is only a dual core Celeron @ 2200MHz.

Any idea how to solve the problem or make it a bit better?
