vista will be a rip; ms wanted a positive reception, but didn't get it; so now windows 7- they'll admit their bad, and say sorry, but we fixed all that with windows 7 and push that to the max, that way they'll get to sell windows os all over again. money money money. sorry guys, but you lose. money money money.

I'm quite excited for Windows 7.

I'm going to opt in on the Beta testing just like I did with Vista.

I really can't wait. I have high hopes for it.

Vista might be stable but it eats up way too many system resources. You lose a large amount of RAM and CPU power when you switch over to Vista. Hopefully they wont mess up on Windows 7 and it will use minimal system resources.

It doesn't have to/need to eat them up, but if they're there and available why not use them?

You do realise that it cuts itself down when you open a game or demanding app yeah?

No it doesn't, I heard from from a lot of people and have read articles stating that it wont free up RAM when you open up another application. Anyways thats besides the point, even if you didn't use that integrated RAM utilizer Vista still eats up a lot of RAM and uses up a lot of cpu cycles that it doesn't need due to that useless UAC crap and w/e it does in the background.
