Centurion 590

I got this case for my first build and I really like it. It has great cable management and good airflow. The only problem is that the hole by the psu is really small, and there's a sort of rolled edge on the back of the motherboard tray preventing really large cables from being routed there. Anyone else have this case?

I have the same case.

Which hole by the PSU are you referring to?

As far as the rounded piece of the back. Well I am about to cut a notch in it with my Dremel to allow the cables to lay flat. Right now I have a big buldge in the middle.....(dirty, dirty, people).....of the side of my case.

Ya I thought about doing that too, but I figured I would rather notch it so that it would look a little better. Figured I would bend it all up with the pliers. How did yours turn out?

The small hole for cables by the psu cut into the mo/bo tray.

I see.

I was able to get all of my cables through it. Though I had to put the cables through the hole and then install the PSU because it blocked part of the hole once installed. Other than that, no issues.

I just got pics. I'm using a modular psu too. the damn 24 pin cable is huge. Plus the hole at the top is too small to route it there. My dad also advised against cutting into that notch because it might screw up the stability of the tray.

My preliminary cable management. (I'm RMAing the mobo cpu and ram) Note the ****ing front pnel connectors are a mess. Any suggestions for cleaning this whole mess of cables up?

the hole at the top. My 4 pin BARELY reaches. I don't think I'd risk sticking the 24 pin in there either. I tried, it's ****ing scary.

The hole in the mobo tray by the psu.

Behind the scenes.

Winner for most zip ties used on 1 case. Note that stupid bar. It blocks most of the panel's room, making it hard to route cables. My first try made the side bow slightly because the 24 pin was too thick.

haha, I still didn't route my video card's cable.

Ohhh I see what you did, I did the same thing.

You have to stick the mobo power cable in first, even before the psu is bolted in. Once it's in there though you've got plenty of room for your other cables.

edit: Ohhh you mean the TOP hole. Yeah, I couldn't fit my cable through that either. I still think you're best bet is to just crimp the rounded part on the mobo tray, the whole thing doesn't support much weight and it's not like you're going to be sitting on it.

I wish I had a camera so I could show you, It looks very clean.
awesome paint.exe picture for the general idea
