Blurry

Hey i have two Envision 22" monitors next to eachother, they are not the same model, but they are very similar, the only thing is that on the second one towards the middle things start to look slightly blurry, not much, but enough to make words look bold. Does anyone know what this is? or is it just my eyes.

Try doing an auto-adjust on the monitor. I've had an LCD get blurry when I plugged it into a different video card before. Also, make sure you're running that display at its native resolution.

Make sure you didn't sneeze on the screen, either.

You could open the case and try adjusting it, but it's rather dangerous as you'll have to have the monitor on to see if your adjustments are working, and the power going through a CRT can the lethal.

Yeah I'm not sure... I was thinking CRT for some reason, probably because it's fairly common for them to go blurry with age.

With the LCD all I think you could do is play around with the settings.

22" LCD by Envision, slightly different model than my main monitor and "Auto Image Adjust" is not availble on the main one either i just noticed, does this have anything to do with them both being DVI? also, opening the case is sorta out of the question :\\

Well, you could try switching the plugs they're plugged into to see if that's the issue, otherwise I don't think there is too much you can do about it.

Yeah on an LCD the only thing I can think of is checking to make sure you can't turn up the resolution any higher. Maybe also try moving the monitor away from any interference (other monitors, speakers, etc) and see if that helps.

Also, try some Windex
