Brand New Build, Gotta problem :(

Thread Starter
I recently received all my hardware on Monday of this week, Intel Core 2 Quad, Stacker Case, 9800gtx etc. put the computer together and everything was jolly. Everything worked first try and there were no problems. I received a new cpu cooler and more fans today. I installed everything exactly how it should and plugged everything back in in the exact same places as before. I boot it up, everything looks fine, it posts, then starts loading at the vista loading screen and immediate bsod. So I start it up again, this time in safe mode and that is where I stand at the moment. Everytime I try to start windows normally, It bsods and turns off. Im almost positive it is software related. any advice is greatly appreciated

try it will only the bear min, 1 ram stick 1 hdd, and as little alse as you can to keep it running. if its ok then psu would be my guess.

edit

that is asuming you have rechecked all the cables to make sure you didnt knock 1 whilst fitting your fan.

If youre into safe mode ... check Event Viewer. Control Panel /Administrative Tools/Event Viewer

Look for errors in the System and Application tabs.
