odd 3dmark score on new mobo

well i had hoped to break 10k on my last mobo and i came very close 9877 and my e2160 was oced to 2.6ghz and my dfi dk just came in and i oced to 3.0ghz on stock cooling and was happy but im puzzled why i still didnt break 10k on 3dmark and it ended up being 9877 AGAIN ?!?! why is this so .im sure all my drivers are updated and what not but why is the same?

Don't be offended by this question because I've done it before, but did you remember to OC your card before running 3DMark06? I keep mine at stock unless I need the performance. Still don't know how you got the exact same score though. My score varies each time I run it.

i did oc my 8800gs with rivatuner. my last mobo was the abit ab9....it still puzzles me why i got the same score

How different is the speed of your ram? My score @ 3.4GHz [425x8] with ram at 850 4-4-4-12 is like 600 points higher than my score @ 3.4GHz [378x9] with ram at 907 (i think) with 5-5-5-15. You running a higher multi/lower FSB?

I have to quickly take that 600 points statement back. Just found out that my score with the lower FSB and higher ram speeds with loose timings wasn't much lower than the high FSB score. I've must done something wrong during that first run. I apologize for the misleading statement.
