Strange virus attack. Maybe you can help?

Hello maybe someone can answer this question. I see that all AVG can find is multiple threats and I keep deleting them but they keep showing up again. Spyware doctor does not ever find even 1 threat on my PC, only AVG.

Here is the strange thing and maybe you can help. AVG only ever finds problems on my:
"Microsoft Windows Network"

If this is all there are when I search it, it only shows my wireless card and my wireless printer. No other sources to search files. What does this mean? Does this mean that another computer on this network has these problems and not mine? Thanks.

Oh and BTW AVG free version says my virus vault is full but there is nothing in there. Wondering what that is about?

Do you have mutiple computers on your network maybe another one is infected and trying to spread the viri across the network or a wireless network not secured and someone could be connected.

Make sure you are running AVG in safe mode. If all else fails and there is stuff on there that won't remove itself, re-install XP. Also, get Ad-Aware from www.lavasoft.com and run that in safe mode too.

But what about AVG? It says the vault is full but there is nothing in it so I cannot get rid of them anymore. Also it only finds it on "Microsoft Windows Network". So I am wondering if this is on MY computer or my friends? It has everything from Virtumonde to Hijacker.morwillsearch (yes I know that sounds bad). There are plenty of others as well. Though my two questions are is this directly on my computer? Or is this on the other?

have you tried the free online panda/nod32 anti-virus scans? It will remove malware as well, but of course it'll be limited. I would definitely give it a try. I've seen way too much malware undetected by AVG on multiple computers.

Panda Online Scan/Removal:
http://www.pandasecurity.com/homeuse...ns/activescan/

Eset Nod32 Online Scan/Removal:
http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/

Register for free so you can also remove malware.

edit: Also scan with AVG in safemode without networking. Make sure all networking is disabled and see if it still detects anything.

Simple way to find out ... unplug your computer from the network then scan in safe mode and see what it finds...
