It's not only the content of the story. It's the way it is told. The start part where you see the world through the eyes of the president, to the nuke going off, to the end where you get caught; its all told so realistically and well presented.

CoD4 is a game that I believe, may not be one of the most impressive looking but is definitely fantastically coded and well thought out.

To be honest I prefer the graphics of COD4, Age of Conan, and CSS way over those of Crysis. Crysis doesn't even have consistent quality in all of the textures. Some of the textures in Crysis look like they come from cs 1.6 and are extremely blurry looking. Also, the lighting in Crysis isn't even realistic. Why is it that on very high settings everything changes colors to a orange like color that looks very unrealistic. I also find it amusing that the game still cant be played maxed out with two 9800GX2's in quad sli with no AA or AF.

In UT3 (god i love how that game looks lol) , COD 4 or any other amazing looking game, I can pull off 60fps with 1920x1200 and 4xAA or higher on (with the exception of maybe a drop to 45 or so when there is something really intense going on, other than that is is 60). Crysis it is like a Frames per second roller coaster that just never ends!

I really fail to see how it's badly coded. Considering in indoor parts of Crysis I get about the same FPS as I do in most new VALVe games. But just ignore the wide open outside area and call them bad coders.

Plus no matter how bad you think Crysis is coded, you seem to forget about all the ****ty ports companies like Ubisoft **** out anually. Compared to the PC optimization for those games, Crysis is a masterpiece.

You also seem to ignore the fact Crysis is still one of the most, if not the most graphically advanced game out. But oh no your low fps is bad coding!

I get a very, very close FPS between UT3 and Crysis on the same settings.

Can 2 9800GX2's + An X3350 @3.7GHz still not run crysis on Max GFX With a good solid 40FPS?

Rusty100, when 3 8800 Ultra's cannot play crysis @Max specs, there is a problem.
