Hello all,

I am new here , and also a newb to the SLI

I have a Thermal take PSU 1200W Thoughpower Cable Management and 2x 9800 GX2 . The PSU has 6 output for PCI-E, 3 of them are 3v and the other 3 are 4v , I want to setup my quad sli but I am having an issue here, I cannot put both card in 3v or 4v , what should I do then ? why there is 3v and 4v ? can someone explain me that ? I was looking a lot in the internet and I didn't find an answer.

Also I have a XFX 790i Ultra mobo, and I see there are optios to change the mhz of the PCI-E , should I leave it on auto ?

Thank you in advance !

OK, just wanted to be sure of it , so the blue (4v) are connected to the first video , and the red ones (3v) to the second video cards.

Thanks iggster

pretty much if it says "pci-e" and has the right number of pins, it should work.
