You do have coolant in the loop and the pump is running, correct?

yes swiftx coolant with distilled water, my temps are lower than with my previous cooler so i'm sure that the cooling is working fine.

Well, I would just be concerned that the pump is not generating enough flow, as that would seem to be a possible cause. Could you possibly take a picture of your loop and post it?

Is the pump set to the highest speed? Wait, you're not using a Res/T-Line?

yes sorry pump>rad>cpu>tline>(back to pump) i can't adjust the pump speed it's defaulted at whatever it is. http://www.petrastechshop.com/pecoli.html This is my kit and i have the blackice II with swiftech apogee gt block.

Oh Ok, I was confused with what components you have, that clears things up a bit. For as much heat as a quad puts out, that kit is probably doing it's best. It's pretty limited. You may wanna lap you CPU.

That's what I was suspecting, a better pump would help immensely.

so a 500l pump isn't good with just a one cpu loop setup?

I'm no expert in water cooling, but a greater flow rate should lower temps, but a better CPU block might do the trick too.
