q6600 fails occt everytime and super hot after wc - Page 4

Welcome to the 680i nightmare. I loved this board for my E6600, but I've literally wasted the last week trying to get anything out of a brand new Q6600. It turns out the TR revision according to EVGA's tech support can not overclock a Q6600 stable, I have to RMA the board to get the T1 revision.

Anyhow, I've decided to give up on that thought and buy a new MB and ram all together.

The good news is, my chip runs really cool so I'm crossing my fingers I can get a good OC out of it when I order the new board next month.
