this is not helping the wireing config
but it can be done exactly how i dont know
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.744 but at $1.18it is a cheap solution and saves head ache or you could try and tear it apparrt and see the wireing

You can't use a PS2 device on a USB port. The only reason it works for most mice is because they have a little converter like that built in. You have to make sure your touchpad supports USB or you have to buy one of those converters.

Too bad its not a keyboard or you could have fit that little adapter within it.

I was working on the same thing you were and I have an answer for you.


PS2 USB
Blue = 5vdc Red
Green = Gnd Black
Orange = Data Green
White = Clock White

Unfortunately I still get the device unrecognized I am hoping a driver fixes this this was from a GE PS2 5 button Optical mouse model WK4204
