Hi guys, just registered about 10 minutes ago..

Anyhow I'm getting a new pc tomorrow, my buddy is putting it together for me.

I am curious at to if i will be able to overclock it?

Can anyone give me some info?

My Pc

BFG Tech BFGE98512GTXE GeForce 9800 GTX(G92) 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Retail

Antec EA650 650W ATX12V Ver.2.2 / EPS12V version 2.91 Power Supply

G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2

Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD3200AAKS 320GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

ASUS P5N-D LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 750i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale 3.0GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor

Any info would be much appreciated....I've read that some people have clocked the E8400 up to 4GHz and some up to 3.8........Would that be possible with my MoBo?

Thanks guys

Any mobo should be overclock to a point, what you need to worry about the most is cooling and wheather or not your computer can overvolt to reach those speeds, or more importantly, keep a stable voltage at those speeds.

I would say it is a nice setup. I would build a nice system, except most of my money goes to my Supra and cost of living here in Tokyo. That system should last you for a while.
