I just upgraded to a voyager last saturday, and i'm not the primary number on my plan. It shouldn't be problem. If online doesn't work, just head down to the verizon store

I am in the same boat, I don't know which one to choose. I think I like the glyde more, mainly because of the size factor.

As far as the upgrade thing, the primary just has to be there. You can upgrade to any phone, just the primary has to be there and know about it.

And AMD for the win!!!!!!!!!!
Gots to hack that mac to go AMD!!!

I just got mt Glyde yesterday. A very nice phone. Only difference between the Voyager and the Glyde is the Voyager you can see V CAST Mobile TV on it and when it flips open and you have two speakers on each side.
I got the glyde for one am not going to use the Mobile TV and it's slimmer too.

Your friends parents can order the phone online or on the phone. The only thing with upgrading is that Verizonwireless would must likely like to extend the contact for two more years. And to get the two phones you have to have the lastest plan. I had to upgrade my plan to get this phone.
Beside that I like my new Glyde.
