NVidia 8 series or 9 series???

Thread Starter
So I'm looking to upgrade my comp, and by upgrade I basically mean change everything except the case, PS, hard drives and dvd burner/drives. I've found a decently priced processor (http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16819115028) and a MB to go with it, and now I'm focusing on a graphics card. However, I've looked at the various lists of graphics cards listed best to worst (specifically this one: http://gamingweapons.com/hardware/gr...card-rankings/ ) and it says the 8800 level NVidia card is the best. However, would it be better for me to get a MB that supports PCIe 2.0 x16 and get an NVidia series 9 card, like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814141073 ? If it IS indeed better, why is it cheaper than most of the 8800s I find? They are generally $200+ and the series 9 cards I can find for under $200. Please let me know what would be best. I'm looking to spend between $130 - $180 on a graphics card. Thanks for the help (this is primarily for gaming btw, cuz my current graphics card and processor just isn't cutting it anymore. I want to run new games smoothly, and that isn't happening.)
