alright well tomorrow.. i'm gonna be borrowing my friends audigy se until further notice.. hopefully this fixes the issue because... i'm not reformatting again... if i do.. its back to xp

You have driver issues and I'd say they are related to the sound driver, not the nForce drivers. Under Vista x64 I've tested the realtek AC97 883 (integrated) and the Audigy 24bit and they were ok, but only with the latest drivers. At one point they were both running smooth (on separate rigs), then after the SP1 install I got random errors. Fortunatelly, both Creative and Realtek provided updated drivers for Vista x64 SP1 which worked.

Changing the sound card would be a good way of checking this, only don't forget do disable the onboard sound before installing the Audigy.

thanks buddy... right now i'm running on all driver provided by vista.. cept for the latest version of the sound drivers
