Legit Reviews not only reviewed the N500, but mod'ed the unit too.

Take a look on their forums at the sweet machine they have now in that box.

Thats all that will fit in it is a 120...I would just take the aluminum rad out of the case and get a 240 or 360 rad and hang it on the back of your case on a rad box..Radbox .That would just leave the pump and res in the case...

Since you only want to spend 60 bux on it that would give you a pretty good bang for buck..

You can always put a 120 rad into it and add a 240 or 360 externally later on...

Here are a couple of old crappy pic's I found of mine when I was working on it...I used RTV silicone to seal the rad to the case, the way I boxed in the rad with coil stock all the air is pulled through the rad..Then I added several 40x10mm fans on the inside to cool the pump off a little and keep the air circulating in the case....Those wedges i put on the top in the other pic's are made of coil stock to...I was going to make a in-line temp probe for that compu-nurse I put in it, i never have done it yet though...

Heres a rad box on the back of one of my old comp's, I made a adjustable piece between the rad and rad box so I could raise the rad up and down 4 positions, or take it off and lay it down while I was bleeding....

Have you started cutting on it yet guys? I want to see it.....I always liked the looks of the freaky little things for some reason, I had a lot of fun cutting on that one...

Say - I like how you gave the laing pump a lil Fan of its own!.......

I might have to do that as well.

Thanks so much IRA-K for he inspiration! I've been doing the family thing all weekend and haven't made it into the garage yet. Tommorrow isnt looking good either - I have to Grill out for the inlaws,
After they leave, depending on my fatigue level - I may start it. I will take some pics.

I might have to do that as well.
The bases get so hot on them, I always put a fan on the bases, well I did the old 18W orange impeller pumps anyway...I really loved those old pumps...

Look forward to seeing your mods on it...I don't know why but I just always liked the looks of them......I think I'll pair it up with a 240 BIX or GTS that I have and use it for my GPU...I have an old 18W DDC w/Petra top in it now...At first I had the stock 10W DDC and I had a Radiical top on it, at that time it was the only delrin top you could get for them.....

Yeah it would be great for that, you can always add another external rad to go with it...I really like external rigs, there kind of handy and easier to work on...

Are you using it at all now?

You mean the 18W DDC? Sure you can, you might need to clip off the little plastic mounts on the side of the pump to get it to fit with-out doing any modding to it...No biggie, side-cutters will do it fine...

I had to put those little wedges on top of mine to get clearance for the tubing because I added a Petra top to my pump and had to flip it over....

They are a little, they bump up your flow pretty good to....I think they are worth it...Petra Top...It's kind of a pain getting them stuffed into that case though..
