Thread Starter
Is there something im missing, my ram is reading as 800Mhz instead of 1000Mhz. I bought 2x2 G.Skill DDR2 1000Mhz and im running it on a evga 750i FTW. I even checked the stickers on the mem and it reads 1000Mhz... Can anyone please help?

You need to change the ram speed in your BIOS so it will run at its full, native speed

CPU-Z shows it as 800 too. Mine is running slightly underclocked at 900, though.

should i just put it up to 1000Mhz and is there any other checks i should do to make sure it is running well at that speed?
