Okay well I am wondering cause I am a bit afraid. MY card is oc'ed to 740/1875/1047 it idles at 40C on normal days and 50C on hot days.
and my fan speed is set to 80%. Well I be safe with this or do I underclock it?
OH does raising your fan speed to high kill your graphic card? thanks

Forgot to mention. Can I OC it higher?

Alot of people on here don't recommend taking the memory clock past 1000. Everything else is fine. I've seen some reviews where they had the Coreclock higher. But your idle temps aren't the issue. What's your load temps?

Use ATI tool to see if you get any artifacts and OC it until it starts artifacting and then lower it back down. Make sure you record all your OC settings to make sure you know them as well as the temps during said overclock.

When you are playing a game at a high resolution with everything turned to max settings (graphics) then it should probably be using about its full capacity.

Try playing a "heavy" game for about an hour and during the game check the temps using "ati tool".

Another good thing to test is ofcourse "artifact scan" with ati-tool (as kamuiRSX alrady said), when i run it my temps rise pretty much.

Your speed:740/1875/1047 (they're considered mild overclock.. its between the high and mid range..) you can go higher.. I have mine at 785/1984/2154 and have my fan at 75% 24/7 and i've been doing fine.. i notice a margain noise gain from 75- 80%.. so i left it at 75%... anyhow. your overclock and temperature is fine.. but i suggest dropping your fan to 65%.. since your overclock isnt that high
