Biostar TA770 max HTT question

Thread Starter
I'm not asking for OC advice here. I've already got a thread going here for help with that - http://www.overclock.net/amd-general...c-attempt.html .

I'm just trying to find out if anybody has this board and was able to get above HTT 240 on the board itself. And if so what are your settings.

I underclocked the CPU and loosened mem timings, but the board won't go past 240. So it appears thats my limit, but some in the other post thought that seemed a low limit. Figured I see if owners of this board have had better luck.

Thank you in advance

In this thread, The Duke hit about 300 for a ref. clock with his TA770:

.... I have a 5000 BE, so I haven't run mine up that far.... but I have had it to just over 240. What is your chipset voltage setting?

Not at home atm, but I've tried bumping the chipset voltage one notch with no luck, not sure how far to try with stock chipset cooling.

I'm still using the stock mobo heatsinks and have run up to 1.30V chipset voltage with no problems.

O.K. thanks. I'll give it some more juice when I get home. I have done some searching on the net and see people hitting 270 with the board plus Dukes results from the link you provided above. I SHOULD be able to get the board to go higher.. we'll see.
