Hi, I am having an issue with options in Control Panel, I have Windoxs XP Home SP3 installed. When I try to open anything in control panel, it says "Windows cannot find 'C:\\WINDOWS\\system 32\
undll32.exe'." How can I fix this for SP3? Thanks for any help.

Just to add to it, I recently did a scan with Spyware Doctor which detected a couple threats and proceeded to clean them. After that, Windows prompted me saying a few files were changed, but couldn't change them back without the SP3 cd which I didn't have at the time. This is when all my options in the control panel quit working.

So how can I fix or replace the rundll32.exe file to make everything work again?

Does anyone know where I can download a copy of the rundll32.exe file for Windows XP Home SP3? I have read online that copying it from a computer will work, but my roommates are not here with their laptops, anyone?

rundll32.exe is a process which executes DLL's and places their libraries into the memory, so they can be used more efficiently by applications.

This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer...

You can find and copy the file off the windows Xp cd... Usually critical windows files aren't available online to download..
