I said the SAME thing about Asus. I've been using them for YEARS, and have always loved their products, but had never had to deal with an RMA. Bought a brand new Maximus Formula SE that ended up being DOA. Seller wouldn't help out, so I had to go through Asus... month and a half went by before they sent me a new board, showed up DOA again... then another month and a half went by, when I finally decided after looking at the repair status on the RMA and seeing "repairing" (knowing damn well they were trying to locate another one), I called over and over and asked to speak with a customer service manager, which then elevated it and got some damn answers. Biggest mistake was her giving me her email, because I could sit there and hammer her all day long about it, and got one overnighted and showed up ACTUALLY tested, with the name of the invididual that tested EVERY component. Guess what? Bastard actually worked, and still works, and way worth the 3 month wait (no exaggeration). You need to decide whether MSI is worth the wait or not next time, if they make a good product, deal with them directly and let them know how YOU feel as the consumer, I guarantee, if they're a good company, they'll get the problem fixed. 9 out of 10 times, no one "important" knows your product is on the back burner being "repaired" or "dealt with", so call and let someone else know how you feel and explain the situation. Post up as to what happens!
