Because on another forum somebody says they have!
So has anybody here?

if you have a few litres of liquid nitrogen and a mobo that can throw out about 1.8vcore its doable.

under air most fall short around 4.3/4.5.

as for comparing a uo with a quad, well of course the quads dont clock as high they have twice as much chance of going wrong.

its a hard 1 to call, i know mine would go higher if my ram was willing or my mobo had better ram options. i have seen others get about the same from 85/8400 so im sure the chip can do it, under air? well it would need to be in a cold ambient.

i only needed 1.375vcore under load to do 4.3ghz and that got my cores upto 50c, this was in a 23/24c room.

tbh i think its doable still but dam i dont think that the chip would last long.

edit

8600s are coming in q3 this year, question is have any of you seen the 8190? i know i aint

edit2

just doing some math and thats 700fsb, i want to see cpuz.
