lol.....u dont want much do u

someone giving u the exact settings for their rig would be pointless ...every rig is different even with matching h/w

thats why there are so many adjustments to cater for small variations in the components themselves ....

trail & error my friend ...

Well, here´s a suggestion, and with this you get FSB 400 (333), multi 8 (9), CPUspeed 3,2GHz (3,0GHz) and memspeed 1066@5-5-5-15, it´s a good start.

AI Overclocking - manual
CPU Ratio Control - manual
Ratio CMOS Setting - 8 (9)
FSB Strap to North Bridge - auto
FSB Frequency - 400 (333)
PCI-E Frequency - 100
DRAM Frequancy - 1066
DRAM Command Rate - 2N
DRAM Timing Control - manual
CAS to 5
RAS to CAS 5
RAS Precharge to 5
RAS Active Time 15
The rest of memory timing to auto, maybe tRFC to 30 but not lower with 2Gb.

DRAM Static Read Control - disabled

Transaction Booster - manual
Transaction Booster to manual
Boost Level to 1 or 2 or 3 (boot with so high number as possible, start with 1)

Clock Over-Charging Mode - auto

CPU Spread Spectrum - disabled
PCIE Spread Spectrum - disabled
CPU Voltage - 1,35 - 1,40 (1,30 - 1,35) (don´t go above 1,50)
CPU Voltage Reference - auto
CPU Voltage Dampener - enabled
CPU PLL Voltage - 1,50
DRAM Voltage - 2,20
FSB Termination Voltage - 1,40
Northbridge Voltage - 1,55
CPU GTL Voltage Reference to - 0,63X
Northbridge Voltage Reference - 0,67X
Southbridge Voltage - 1,05

C1E Support - disabled
Max CPUID Value Limit - disabled
CPU TM Function - disabled
Execute Disable Bit - disabled

Then you can start bring up your FSB and with it "CPU Voltage" (I should say 1,50 as max) and DRAM voltage (check your max volt on those memory first, 2,2v should be fine, maybe 2,3v), it should not be that hard to reach FSB 425, 3,4GHz and memspeed 1100 - 1150 and check with Prime95 and Memtest on your way up.

Check your CPU temp with RealTemp, it shouldn´t go above 70C.

EDIT: I can recommend you to upgrade to BIOS 0612

@ Ghostleader - can you tell me a bit more about the following settings please and what they affect:

CPU Spread Spectrum - disabled
PCIE Spread Spectrum - disabled
CPU Voltage - 1,35 - 1,40 (1,30 - 1,35) (don´t go above 1,50) ( i know this)
CPU Voltage Reference - auto
CPU Voltage Dampener - enabled
CPU PLL Voltage - 1,50
DRAM Voltage - 2,20 ( i know this )
FSB Termination Voltage - 1,40
Northbridge Voltage - 1,55 ( i know this )
CPU GTL Voltage Reference to - 0,63X
Northbridge Voltage Reference - 0,67X
Southbridge Voltage - 1,05

I'm basically just curious as to what all the different settings impact on during the overclocking process...

thanks for the help...
