I would have to say WoW too, my guild has just cleared Black Temple, better late than never.

It's highly addictive, but Blizzard are kinda butchering the game with 'Welfare Epics' and such. Like, some badge rewards are better than MH/BT gear but meh, they will do what they have to do to make money.

I've played most of the MMO's out there and I have to say that there are some I just can't stand to play. FFXI, EQ, EQ2, DND:Online are some. I greatly enjoy the PvP system in wow but the game gets old fast. Vanguard was fun for the first few minutes. If they fixed some of the bugs in it, it'd be a fantastic game. City of Heros/City of Villians just got WAY to monotonous for me to play GREAT character design but game play is lacking. Guild wars is a GREAT long term investment. Buy the game once, never pay again. The gameplay does show some weakness though. I don't like the fact that you have to restart your character for every expansion.

My vote: EVE

Eve is the most unique game you posted up there. It's set in it's own time and world and the gameplay is unique to it. It's training system is done well and you know exactly how long it takes to train. Your character can be fashioned to your liking, it doesn't even have to be a combat character. I still hold eve to be the best MMO in it's class.

Dark Age of Camelot.
No other game compares to the PVP system, yes they screwed it up and thats why it went downhill(just my opinion). The old frontier was awesome.

Been trying to replace it for over a year now...
WOW doesnt come close
AOC has potential, but I am not too excited about the PVP from what i have read...will hold off until I actually get up to a decent level before bashing though.

Looking forward to Warhammer - hoping it has a decent PVP.

My vote went to Guild Wars. I've played WOW and AOC, but I still like Guild Wars the best. I can't quite figure out why though. I've been playing it since launch and haven't ever set it down. It's a great game.

I've played WoW, Lineage II, Guild Wars, and AoC..

And honestly I have liked AoC the most out of all of them.. I've played Lineage II and WoW about as long as I've played AoC.. I might have played Guild Wars a little longer.. But it's hard to get me hooked on an MMO..

And right now I'm definitely hooked to AoC..

You didn't give the new frontiers a chance. The reason why they sucked months down the road is because all the old harcore players threw a fit and quit. Mythic wont make that mistake again.... I personally didn't find ToA the best thing in the world, but I know for a fact that they shot themselves in the foot with it. Oh well. But ya, great MMO.
