I'm trying to determine which laptop graphics card would be best to go with if I decide to buy a new laptop this summer. Can someone enlighten me?

8700MGT according to these reviews.

8700M GT is a class 1 card while 9500M GT is a class 2

9500M GS

8700M GT is better. They are basically the same GPU, but the 8700M GT is clocked higher.

If I got a laptop with the 9500, could I safely overclock it to the 8700m speeds?

Overclocking on a laptop is generally a bad idea due to heat issues

(Also, overclocking a 9500 to the 8700's speeds is a pretty big overclock)
