This is the best action to take. I thought all the bubbles were out when I filled my rez bay up . I didn't know that air could be trapped without the cap on. It looked fine. temps so-so. I had to suck some water out with a turkey baster and
tilled my PC back with a book and leave the cap off. Some of the soap bubbles did come back ( I used a drop in the loop for unyielding fittings and a guide said to add for water tension ) . Now after 2 hours the bubbles are gone and 1 C idle drop. I'd let it run a evening with the cap off.

Place the case on its side (Mobo side DOWN)

This way both of the channels for the upper and side reservoir get both bubbles to rise to the walls at the same time - instead of having to tilt it at every angle.
