Thanks. I was wondering if anyone can confirm that I need DDR instead of DDR2. That's what I was scared of and mostly why I asked which to get.

Also, I hate to sound so stupid...but if I bought those 2 gigs of ram, would I take out the 1 gig I already have and put the new 2, or just add the new 2 to the one that is already in place?

your mobo uses DDR400, 4 sticks, for a max of 4GB.

keep your 1gb and buy 2gb and youll have 3gb

edit: so yes, keep the ram you have and have 3gb, ive done this in my back up rig and to 2 friends and its fine.
