I'm still pissed at asus, so I will do some research (actualyl I will do it now) on gigabyte's 780G, i was googling a little ealier , ppl do use it for 9850, so I assume it is good for, but i will look into,
and a bit update on the deal
the 9850 is oem, no box no hsf, appearly guy work for amd(quiet exciting to meet someone actually work for them) the cpu is a gift but never used, he also gonna give me a Zalman CNPS8700 NT cooler for 35, probably take it too, also free AS5 paste
, I think it's a awsome deal(he say he will try to find me some free AMD goodies ^^!) so I'm taking it for sure.
EDIT: just check Gigabyte official site, official cpu support list http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/M...ProductID=2758
it does support 125w 9850, so this mobo will be my pick, and I'm getting a google check in july, which plus a bit of savings, i will be able to pick up a 48XX in time, onboard will do fine for couple of months.Edited by TripleC - 5/26/08 at 10:31pm
